About the organisation

Hellenic Open University is an only official distance learning University from 1992 and currently counts 35.000 students, 48 teaching staff members, 202 administration staff members and 1.970 collaborating external tutors. The university comprises 4 schools: School of Science & Technology,  School of Humanities,  School of Social Science and School of Applied Arts. And 4 independent Units: The Educational Material and Methodology Laboratory, Internal Evaluation and Training Unit, Quality Assurance Unit, Center for Consultation and Psychological Support. HOU maintains a nation-wide network of branches and is an active member of EADTU.

Role in the project

Contribute to the investigation and analyses of needs at Macro level for SLPs of learners in employment with longer and changing careers, seeking to update knowledge and skills, not in need of a full degree. Contribute to the compendium - guidance best practices;- integrating in portal. HOU will work closely together with WP11 leader UAb to optimally align evaluation instruments and QA.
